What is Dermalift?

Dermalift is a treatment developed to give patients a natural looking face lift. With the Dermalift treatment, patients in Singapore can have a lifted face without having to worry that their facial movements will be restricted after the treatment.

What can Dermalift treat?

  • Wrinkles around eyebrows and eyes
  • Square jaws
  • Round face
  • Pore reductions

How does Dermalift work?

The injection technique was invented by a renowned plastic surgeon, Dr Lee Young Seob, from Korea. He wanted to be able to recreate the positive effects of BOTOX injections while still allowing patients to move their facial muscles freely. The injection technique differs from standard injections, as the toxin is injected into the skin layer instead of the facial muscles. The fibroblast cells in the skin layer will cause the tightening of collagen fibres, creating a lifting effect to the face. This technique allows patients to animate freely after the Dermalift procedure as the injection and concentration of the toxin used will not “freeze” the patient’s face.

The greatest difference lies in the injection technique and concentration used. Dermalift is administered into the intradermal layers, while botox is delivered into the muscle. Botox aims at reducing muscle contractions while Dermalift aims at creating a skin smoothening effect instead.

The treatment area is cleansed, numbing cream is applied.

The doctor then makes multiple injections in the skin.

Mild swelling, redness and soreness can be expected right after treatment.
But there should be no problems resuming normal activities.

Treatment time is typically 30 minutes, depending on the site of treatment.

Post-treatment care

Visible bumps, redness and swelling on the skin can be observed after treatment, the effects are temporary and lasts only a few hours.

For consistent results, dermalift is repeated every 3 – 4 months. A combination treatment approach such as HIFU Plus, Ultherapy, Threadlifts and fillers are also recommended.
