HIFEM device uses a very different energy source to reduce fat. Its called High Intensity Electromagnetic Focussed Fields – which not only reduces the fat layer, but also builds the muscle underneath. The electromagnetic pulses stimulate muscle contractions in the abs – as many as 20,000 in a typical 30-minute treatment.
Such intense muscle contractions requires fuel, so as the muscles are contracting they break down fat to supply the energy.
