What is High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Fat Loss Therapy?
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) is known to kill off fat cells. Similar to Coolsculpting, HIFU kills off fat cells in an affected region, avoiding any burns or trauma to the surrounding cells. The treatment applies an applicator to kill off stubborn fats for the purpose of toning and sculpting your body.
It is suitable for application on the body, arms and legs.
Here at EHA Clinic, we utilise LIPOSONIX to provide High Intensity Focused Ultrasound Fat Loss Therapy.
What can HIFU Fat Loss Therapy treat?
- Stubborn fats around abdomen, arms and thighs
How does LIPOSONIX work?
The ultrasound energy used is entirely focused on the determined areas, at 1.3cm beneath the surface of the skin. As the dead fat cells will have to be metabolised by your body, the actual results that can be gained from the Liposonix treatment are only apparent after a few months.

What to expect after procedure
One session of treatment in Singapore usually lasts about an hour. Patients will typically resume their daily activities immediately after the procedure due to the little downtime needed.
A patient is likely to lose about 1.5 to 2 inches in waist circumference after just one treatment, depending on the extent of the area treated. This translates to a difference of up to one clothing size. Liposonix is used to treat love handles and fats around the abdomen. It is a non-invasive treatment that is approved by the Food & Drug Administration, making it safe for those in Singapore that wish to target specific areas of their body. Side effects may include mild bruising during the first few weeks after the treatment.
Post-treatment care
It is highly recommended that patients continue with a healthy diet and exercise routine after the treatment, as the remaining fat cells can still grow.
