What is Monopolar Radiofrequency Treatment?

Monopolar Radiofrequency is a RF treatment solution for high-intensity skin lifting, tightening, and contouring by rejuvenation. It has a built-in system with four interchangeable cartridges designed with a rounded surface tip to maximize RF power and treatment safely.

At EHA Clinic, we conduct this treatment using Volnewmer.

What can Monopolar Radiofrequency treat?

  • Face and Neck Lifting: To reduce sagging and improve skin firmness.
  • Body Contouring: To tighten skin and improve body shape.
  • Wrinkle Reduction: To smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Skin Rejuvenation: To improve overall skin texture and tone.

It is suitable for application on the face, arms, abdomen, knees and thigh, buttocks.

How does Monopolar Radiofrequency work?

The treatment uses advanced RF Energy to achieve collagen regeneration and restructuring.

RF Energy Delivery: The RF energy heats the deeper layers of the skin, causing controlled thermal injury. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing response, leading to increased collagen and elastin production.

Collagen Remodeling: Over time, the newly formed collagen and elastin help to lift, tighten, and contour the skin, improving its overall appearance and texture.

Advanced RF Technology for higher level treatments

Despite being treated with high energy levels, Volnewmer has relatively minimal side effects and pain during the procedure. The energy is automatically adjusted before the shot starts so that the thermal energy is uniformly transmitted
according to the defined energy.

Your Monopolar Radiofrequency experience at EHA Clinic

The treatment area is cleansed and markings are drawn on the face.

The appropriate cartridge is selected based on the treatment area. The device is then applied to the skin, where the rounded surface tip ensures even distribution of RF energy.

The doctor then makes multiple passes over the treatment areas.

Overall, the procedure is comfortable, painless and does not induce any form of scarring. Patients describe the sensation as a ‘tingling and a little aching feeling’.

Mild redness or swelling may be experience after the treatment, which will generally recede over the next few hours.

Treatment time is typically 30-60 minutes, depending on the site of treatment.

At EHA, we conduct this treatment using Volnewmer device.
